Club meetingsThe club meets every month for an evening of presentations, discussions and displays, with a field trip to a local site (usually the following weekend,)

Projects and studiesWe organise and run projects to investigate the local geology. Our current project is focused on the Triassic rocks of the Wakefield area.

Local GeologyThe Nelson area is one of the most diverse areas of geology in New Zealand, with rocks spanning the entire sequence from Cambrian to Recent.
